After a ten-year career at HSBC, much of it spent in commercial banking and working closely with Steve, I joined SWBF so I could support SMEs with access to the whole lending market rather than being restricted to a single provider.

Over the past seven years at SWBF, I have continued to build my commercial expertise and financial knowledge, developing strong relationships across the industry and a deep understanding of the changing lending landscape. I now work predominantly with property professionals, helping them secure commercial mortgages and development finance, while continuing to support SMEs across a wide range of sectors.

Having seen first-hand how the lender marketplace has expanded beyond traditional high-street banks, I believe this breadth of choice enables SWBF to deliver effective, tailored solutions in an ever-changing economic environment.

Outside work, I am a keen rugby fan. Although I remain loyal to Exeter Chiefs, I increasingly find myself supporting Bath Rugby too. Any spare time is usually spent with my wife and two young daughters, walking the dog or watching whatever sport happens to be on television.
