My first career was with NatWest, where I spent 21 years in a variety of roles. The latter part of that career was in commercial banking, first in Coventry and Warwickshire and later in Somerset, where I was born and raised.

My final role as a Commercial Relationship Manager in Yeovil involved actively managing a varied portfolio of business clients, providing excellent service and helping them meet their banking and financial needs.

I left NatWest to spend two years in Australia, studying and volunteering with a large charitable organisation. This included helping with large-scale events that attracted tens of thousands of people from around the world.

Since returning to the UK, I have spent nine years in commercial finance broking. During that time, I have worked with a wide range of lenders and clients to find solutions that meet their requirements.

Over the years, I have supported various charities and held voluntary roles ranging from school governor and finance officer to sound engineer for musicians. I also enjoy travel, which has sometimes crossed over with charity work and taken me to parts of Peru, Serbia and the Czech Republic that most tourists do not see. I am a fan of musical theatre and enjoy trips to London's West End.

Having worked with clients throughout the UK, my role at SWBF gives me the opportunity to work personally with clients and professionals in my local area, placing real value on long-term working relationships.
